Il Casaro — a taste of Italy in North Beach 🍕🇮🇹

We had a lovely time at Il Casaro. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the friendly welcome and the quality of the ingredients.

The pizza was good and nicely presented. We found the dough a little softer and more elastic than we usually prefer: a matter of personal taste that did not stop us from enjoying it.

We really enjoyed the cannoli too — a lovely way to finish lunch!

A lovely Italian stop on our trip to San Francisco, and somewhere we would happily return to.
